On the last Sunday of May, in Orastie, a festival of spring was organised. It is called MAIALUL ORASTIAN.

It is a festival with the participation of many people and our friends from Orastie’s twin towns from Germany, France, Holland, Israel, Moldova, Spain and Italy.

The festival begins with a parade through town, ending in Youth Park where entertainment, music, dance, fun games, traditional food, were available etc.. Festival ends tonight at 22 with beautiful fireworks.

You really have many traditions to enjoy in Orastie. It is great that the people from your twin cities should be invited to this festival. Does it take place every year? I’d love to be there to listen to music, watch the dances, the fireworks and the parades and rejoice with you in Orastie!
I would like to be there too, just like Isabelle. But I would also like to taste those delicious skewers on the fire. Marinela, you do not know me yet.So, I indroduce myself: a good and curious eater. I confess I am a sinner woman.
If you really want, we can make an exchange experience next year.We are happy because in our coutry the youngsters continue the old traditions.the food from Romania is tasty but is a real enemy for our body.
