Consequences of the snow

The snow may rejoyce people in some respects but …..

Tonight many people were stuck in their cars and trucks on the roads because of the snow in Northern Brittany especially in Côtes d’Armor and North Finistère. School buses have stopped and children can’t get to their school. Many schools are closed and even all schools are closed in Côtes d’Armor. In Brest many teachers and school children were not able to go to school and the buses can’t drive along many slippery streets this morning still. more snow falls are announced. This is so unusual for us! Here is a link to the other local newspaper, Ouest-France, for you to realise how difficult the situation has turned out to be.
